What I Believe

“Our children are resilient and aware; they deserve schools built on discipline, curiosity, and community support. We must mend the system to give them the future they deserve.”

My wife, a school teacher, asked only one thing when we moved to Maryland: that we find the best school system for our children’s future. We chose Montgomery County, but soon saw a system struggling with poor leadership, wasteful policies, and misplaced priorities.

I believe our children deserve organized, disciplined schools filled with competent teachers who inspire curiosity and prepare them for the modern world. Their education should balance academic rigor, ethics, physical fitness, mental health support, and safe learning environments.

As a father, veteran, and business leader, I know children thrive when surrounded by community, teamwork, and consistent effort. Just as in sports or music, practice and guidance lead to success. We must mend the system to ensure every student grows with confidence, knowledge, and opportunity.

The Back Room Discussions

What Really Matters

  • Financial Woes

We all feel the high cost of living in Montgomery County.  But, what makes MoCo different? Why does it cost more to live, work or play here.. than in WV, VA, PA, etc.,?

High spending by the County Government.

When the Government spends more, it must demand more revenue to keep the financial flow.  That means more TAXES.  When Taxes and fees increase, that cost is passed onto the consumer.. which is You, Me, and the County.

SOLUTION: Ensure we are transparent on spending. Conduct periodic Audits and inspections.

Stop undesired government spending.  Encourage Corporate and Community spending to drive our economy.

BARRIERS: We have many established politicians and their friends that DO NOT WANT any audits, as that would potentially stop county funding to their special interests.  $8 Billion ($8,000,000,000) + are spent each year... where does that money go?  Especially when the County runs out of money to fix roads, remove snow, leave school buildings to deteriorate, etc.,
